The "Heroes from Life-Winning Together" organization, as it is called, was established to unite to achieve a lofty goal: to provide an anchor for rescuing the protagonists 'children with cancer and improving their and their families' quality of life - through financial assistance. Orphans and needy
families.
The association's motto is: "Healthy economy in a healthy body." Families of cancer patients experience a burdensome financial burden as a result of enormous expenses for financing medications, treatments and travel, and a lack of income due to the prolonged stay with the patient. Experience shows that this financial distress is a deterrent to patients 'recovery, and that their removal from their lives is a necessary condition for their and their families' continued functioning, and for the completion of their recovery process.
The association is not funded by any government body, and is funded by donations from the general public, private donors and businesses in Israel and abroad. The members of the association work voluntarily and without pay.
Connecting to activities - ongoing financial support
Heroes of Life-Winners Together operates, focusing on three main planes:
Fundraising for drugs, transplants and surgeries, and special treatments that are not included in the health basket.
Initiating and organizing specific projects for quality and welfare life, and for maintaining the dignity of the children and their families. These projects include ongoing assistance in the household economy, sending food baskets on Saturdays and holidays, and organizing summer camps for sick children.
Assistance to widows, orphans and needy families living in poverty.
